AMANDA RENAR

I studied dance at Laine Theatre Arts, U.K and went on to become a professional dancer and certified (A.I.S.T.D) dance teacher – ballet and modern. After some years I also studied to become a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer gaining a Certificate in Exercise and Health Studies and Exercise to Music.

I worked in this field, first in London, and then for several years on board a variety of cruise ships, sailing in the Caribbean, Pacific, the Med and even a world cruise. I became passionate about Pilates many years ago after the arrival of my two children. I saw and felt the benefits and always left class feeling stronger and with a better posture.

In 2016 I decided to bite the bullet and train to become a Stott Pilates Instructor. They are an internationally recognised organisation and have an instructor training program in the South of France. The course was both rewarding and challenging!

I love sharing my passion and knowledge of Pilates with others as I really do believe in its benefits for everyone. I teach small group classes and give one to one sessions.

In May 2018 I added Total Barre training to my repertoire. Barre classes are high energy, fast paced classes to music which blend dance, fitness and pilates for a great all round workout.

In recent times I have moved my Studio Online and continue to offer a range of classes including a 30 minute Standing Pilates Class and a Chair Class alongside all the regular Mat and Barre sessions.

I now have over six years experience teaching Pilates to many different people, of all ages (including children and seniors!) and with varying needs and considerations in their Pilates exercise goals.
